I can vouch that your advice really works! I met a wonderful man after I started treating myself as valuable enough and realised what I want in a relationship. I bought both of your programs and studied them carefully and it made me see things differently. Not long after that, I met my Mr Right! Keep up the good work Matt and ladies, you CAN listen to him!
My man is going through a withdrawal period now, and I won’t lie, it’s tough. But anyway the fact is that when he withdraws, as a woman you feel like he doesn’t care anymore, he’s pulling a slow fade, he’s toying with me. This may be true, especially if he’s generally uncaring, treata you like crap, i.e. if there was never that connection between the two of you. However if the man has never given you a reason to not trust him, then maybe you must acknowledge that yours fears are just fears – not based on any factual evidence.
I’m in such limbo with what is going on, Basically me and my partner were together for nearly two years we had the best times, a few struggles. Mainly due to me, but overall we were happy and compatible. He broke up with me recently because he said it was getting too serious and he doesn’t know what he wants, he claims he needs to lose me before he realises what he had, because I made it to easy for him. He also said he wants to focus on his career and just have no one to answer to, as we are both still young it’s almost like he needs to get things out of his system, and I need to go figure myself out aswell. We left the relationship on good terms, and he said maybe we will get back together in the future, once we have both lived a while, we can catch up and see where each other are at. I’m just so terrified that he will fall in love with someone else, as I don’t know how true the things he says are true or if he just simply fell out of love with me, and don’t know if you can win someone back that doesn’t doesnt love. Any advice would Ben great thank you.
Since the answer to the eternal puzzle of how to make a guy commit has been answered, what are you waiting for? Try our tips out on your date, your boyfriend or the eternal frat boy you just haven’t seemed to be able to convince to commit for a long time. Make sur ethat you are both on the same level and that you have not mistakenly misread any signs along the way. We’re almost sure he won’t resist your charm and he’ll be a changed man in no time. That works for us ladies, doesn’t it?
It’s true, we are naturally attracted to people like ourselves. The more you have in common the better but even more important, you should show him your interest by mirroring him. This doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve got to wear the same clothes as he does. However you should copy his actions. If he takes a sip of his drink you should do the same. Use the same words he does later in the conversation, and if he holds his hands a certain way you should do the same.
It’s finally happening: you met a man you’re compatible with, you really like him, and the feeling is mutual. He’s showering you with attention, making plans to see you, making time to call you, and generally letting you know that he’s so happy to have found you. How does a man act when he’s falling in love? Just like this—and you’ve never been happier, or more thankful, to have him by your side.
I met a guy, we went on a few amazing dates, he bought me gifts, was always super keen to see me, (i was away a lot so we only saw each other 5 times), then, out of nowhere bam! he starts to pull away. Only i didn’t realise this is what’s happening. The last time i saw him, him was kind of distant, but he stayed over and went to work the next day. I knew he was busy, so i didn’t expect to hear from him, plus it was two days before Christmas. When he hadn’t responded to my text i sent a cheeky one joking about where he’d been and he said he’d been super busy and that he had the flu. The texts got less frequent over Christmas and new year and everything i suggested meeting up, he ignore the request, but replied in the usual manor.
@ Jackie if a guy ever tell you to STOP calling/texting him give him just what he asking you for which is no contact It seems to me he got what he wanted sex from you and was No longer interested in anything other that. I know as a woman it hurts to be treated like that it happens but learn from it, next time take more time to get a real feeling of what a guy true intentions are in my opinion 1 month is too soon to give a guy your precious body too he obviously has moved on and so should you. Keep in mind he may reappear but you have to be a Strong woman and not go back to his way of treating you distancing himself from you be more available for the right guy to come into your life. Forgive him and dont look back go on with your life.
Ok firstly all the hormone talk is true and your man goes through a 30 day cycle just like our 28 day cycle but opposite hormones. If your man is constantly pulling away not answering messages etc he is not finding himself he is rude, inconsiderate and needs to get his act together cause these ones head for divorce number 4 before the end of their lives. A man wanting time to himself is fine, go to the man cave but you have responsibilities here at home, don’t forget those or you’re in the doghouse. You pull away expect your woman to pull away right back, were not your Mummas be a man, a man never makes his woman Chase him. A man loves the Chase. Raise your son’s to have respect for women. Because going into their mancaves for days or weeks says these things: 1. You’re a control freak narcissist, 2. You have no love or respect or hmbleness in your heart, 3. Your woman is now available! ye! That’s right ladies say bye! You deserve better. Good luck.
However, for women it is always nice when a guy does the romantic thing and buys you presents etc. So if you have been in a relationship with your man for a while and this is happening to you, then you can also use James Bauer’s questioning technique to get him to realise on another level that he needs to pay attention to you in a more romantic way.
same to me..I’ve broke up 2 years ago after 6 years been together. I was so sad that time but I dont want to look so pathetic. Even myself know how pathetic am I.Haha. Now I still love him secretly and I don’t know either the feeling will disappear one day or not.I want to do all this but thinking of he never care about her ex before me at all so must be he do the same to me.not care at all.I’ve secretly stalk him after breakup 2 years ago 2 times thats making me hurt like hell and i stop. Now I dont know where and how he is.
My live in boyfriend of 5 in a half years has pulled away after I became preganant and it was a planned pregnancy. He says he wants space to reflect on our relationship but still wants to work things out and is going to make an appointment with a therapist. Should I give him this space and back off? I find this situation difficult because I feel alone during my pregnancy. He also started seeing someone else just a few days of me moving out. Should I just give up on him? I still love him.
Guy, yeah it might be easier if you just avoid the situation. Everything’s easier if you just run away from it. It’s not right though and a very childish way of ending things. There’s something to be said for a bit of honesty. If you ignore the person rather than saying “I’m no longer interested” it shows that you’re not honest. It says more about you than it does about the girl who you’ve just left out of the blue. Been out with a few guys who for some reason or another have realised that it’s not what they want and they were honest about it. Didn’t like it because I really liked them so was a bit hurt but I got over it eventually.
As far as sex is concerned, my concise comment on the matter has always been that a woman knows best when to sleep with a guy — it’s her choice and nobody has a place to judge or shame that. At the same time, she would do best to make sure that she’s doing it because she wants to and never, ever from a place of fear (fear that he won’t stick around if she doesn’t, fear of him losing interest if she doesn’t, fear that’s she’s not enough without having sex with him, etc.)
Think about it: you became so used to having your partner around, especially if you lived together or just spent a lot of time together. Now that he’s gone, everything feels out of sync. You can’t sleep without him next to you. Your body temperature might even be going wonky. All of this is normal, but you need to really take care of your health right now.
what to do get your ex back get back together relationships what men want getting your ex back attract men self-sabotage create a life you love NC commitment lifestyle sex chances of getting back together happiness forgiveness flirty text messages emotionally unavailable infidelity attract the one get ex boyfriend back self love why men pull away save your marriage
Even if he doesn’t realize it at first, he will eventually learn that he has more minute-by-minute fun with you than he does with other women – other women who spend too much time trying getting a commitment out of him through pressure and nagging. In the end, he is going to follow his heart…and his heart always follows the most intense feelings and experiences—the memories of laughter, talking, and excellent conversation.
Of course, giving him space is really just the first step… but when it comes down to it there are 2 big problems every woman experiences in her relationships with men – so pay attention because what you do next is vitally important. The first problem you’re probably going through: if you’re already interested in a man and you feel he might be losing interest, going cold, or pulling away then you need to read this right now or risk losing him forever: If He’s Pulling Away, Do This…
I’ve been dating this guy for about 6 weeks or so. Yes, early days I know, but we have passed a lot of these things. I’ve met his brother, his casual friends and a lot of his close friends. Natural since we’ve known each other for 8 years really. Anyway I feel like I’ve ruined something great. We try and have a date a week, very casual ones though, we feel good around each other, talk is easy, we support each other, have some similar interests and hobbies, and the sex is great. It was only how one date night he was sick and I organised an easy night at his where I would bring over dinner, watch a movie and just hang out. He told me he wasn’t up to it and wanted some alone time. I get that. I have those days too. I also get that plans come up and that if there is a friend you can only see once in a blue moon then you take it. But, does it have to be the same night? Do I have to find out through a third person that he went to a party while sick on the night he wanted to be alone? Now in past relationships I’ve done the bad thing, let these things slide, hurt me and reward them for it; but I didn’t want to do that. I messaged him today – not trusting my voice – with something along the lines of ‘since you believe in honesty is the best policy, next time tell me alone time just means time with anyone but me.’ I told him I’ve been in that type of relationship before and I was really hurt by it. He said he understood and it was inconsiderate before slipping in the whole thing of ‘personally, i’m not looking for a serious relationship right now.’. Ok, I get that. Just shy of two months dating (even though we’ve known each other for 8 years) and we are young! We are only 22. I agreed with him but he also knows that down the line those feelings on my end might change. I also said that if they change for him to let me know since I don’t want to get hurt and I don’t want him to be either. I’ve been in the whole one sided relationship before and the guy really hurt me in that situation. I feel like I’ve ruined it by telling him how I feel since he just slipped in that line and it just felt like another blow. I like this guy, I could see a potential relationship in the future but I’m just scared that even though I said I don’t want a label that he thinks that since i added that months down the line that could change. When that time comes I’m just wondering how to reach him to move from just casual dating to a proper relationship.
So me and this guy used to talk a lot face to face and then he asked for number one day and we texted all the time and spoke face to face but then after a year we no longer spoke face to face just cuz when we would act lovey dovey on text I started to freak out thinking it would be awkward face to face so yh that stopped but we still texted then I started liking him then ended up telllingg him n he said he liked me back but then his friend told me he was lying so I find out he was pretending cuz he felt bad even tho I said if. U don’t like me it’s okay. But yh we had a massively argument and didn’t speak for six weeks but I still liked him so being stupid I went running back and we have been talking ever since but now we have tiny arguments over silly stuff n he lied to me for the first time don’t get me wrong we still have a good time but I don’t know sometimes I feel like I’m wasting my time cuz I put effort it like I always text first n when I told him that he said it’s because he doesn’t kno when to and I’m like does it look like I know when ur available? No but I still text u. He also has this bff of his a girl who I get his close with but the pics they post together are couple-y. And Ik me and him ain’t together but I need advice, do I stop talking to him or what?

Hi Alexandra, This is exactly what happens to me. A lot. Do everything by the book and it does not produce results. Generally you suddenly see these guys with some bland Miss Piggy woman a month or so later. From what I have understood so far, these men think they are not good enough for you. Unfortunately, I never found any way of solving this. Once they believe this, you cannot change it. Only he can. Just find a guy who thinks he IS worthy of you. Very hard to find. Classy agency is your best bet.
Out of sight, out of mind. I don't know who instanced this one, but he who did, perhaps, knew how relationships would take a turn as time sweeps. Given the current rundown of relationships, it really isn't a tough call to see yours dragged into the rut of being taken for granted by your boyfriend quite frequently. He might start thinking that deep down under, you're not going anywhere, and that this relationship, is secure, whichever way it is. The end result? He won over you, and you lost to him, or so you both think. However, now, take that big step, go backstage, and make yourself unavailable for a while. Let him find you by himself. Don't make yourself seen. The following ways might come handy.
Then one friday night on a party im so drunk and we go together at his place and we had an intercourse. Its not planned at all. But i think it’s the right time even though we dont define our relationship i feel comfortable with him so i feel ok. He never pressured me to have sex i just feel comfortable around him.. i think after that we are still ok, he still text me.
My ex and I have been through a lot. Everything has been amazing since day one. We recently suffered a miscarriage but he seems fine as we very supportive. I thought this was the man I was going to marry one day. However he recently met up with his ex fiancé. They have had a toxic on again off again relationship and he was the one who broke of their engagement for good. He met with here after 8 months of no contact to retrieve some important information she had of his. The meeting turned into her saying how sorry she is and she wants him to give her another chance and you know what he did….. no surprise broke up with me to give her another chance. They are no good for each other and everyone knows it. I don’t think it will last long. Do you think your methods will work in this situation and make him realize he made the wrong decision. I want him back not because I feel I need him but because I truly do love him
Hi so I recently had this problem with an ex whom I’ve been on and off with and a couple days ago he asked if I was willing to be in a 3 person relationship with a “close friend” of his and it turns out he’s been talking to her behind my back and well after talking about it with him ..I decided that he should just leave me alone and not text me but he still texted that he was going to be there for me if needed to talk to him about anything ..I don’t know if I should respond to this ..or how to to respond to it …

Our sense of smell can remind us of the best and worst times. When it comes to memories, it is the sense mostly closed linked to our experiences. It can bring us back to a wonderful memory and cause us to miss something or someone from that memory. Use your man’s nose to your advantage and get yourself a unique scent that will remind of him of you during your best times together.
It has been almost a month since we broke up. He broke up with me saying that he had enough of the small fight we had every month. Since our breakup , he show no emotions. He didnt try to reach out to me too. However he does constantly post on his facebook page. And it does seem to me he has already move on. Is there even chance for us to be back together again?
If you want this guy to be your boyfriend, you have to make him think that being in a relationship was all his idea. So remove all the pressure and stop stressing him out with your constant talks about being committed to each other. Soon enough, being with you will be the only thing on his mind, and he won’t even hesitant letting you know that he’s ready for a relationship.
You already have your revamped wardrobe, and that balayage hair treatment has your entire appearance on fleek. Now, all you need to do is whip your body into shape. After being in a relationship with your ex, it’s possible that you packed on a few love pounds, and now’s the time to shed them! Reactivate that gym membership, throw on your favorite pair of sneakers, and dust off your Lululemon pants. It’s time to sculpt your “revenge body” that will make your ex regret the day the two of you parted ways. By looking and feeling amazing from the inside out, your ex will know that you’ve moved on, and you’re life is headed in a positive direction. It will definitely crush his ego a bit, and he will start to reminisce about all the good days the two of you shared. Prepare to receive a phone call or a text message from him spilling his guts about how much he misses you!
So let him know if you’re thinking of moving out of state. Let him know if traveling to Europe is on your bucket list. Let him know if a great job offer comes from three cities over and it’s in your best interest to move. And then work towards that future. Because he must sense that you’re not just sending him idle threats. Once he calls your bluff he wins the upper hand.
Answer: If he’s feeling low about himself, then the last thing you want to do is make him feel even worse by being upset all the time. The only thing you can do is to hang on, try to boost his confidence, and encourage him to follow this dreams. Being supportive will help him to feel accomplished and will let him know that you are happy with him and have all that you could need. [Read: 12 common male insecurities that women don’t realize]
We had an amazing relationship, wow amazing.. we connected in ways that no one could understand. When we first met our priorities weren’t so crazy.. I met him after a tragic tragic thing happened with his father… and I met him a month after… we connected right off the bat. Throughout the months we were getting to know each other he asked me to be his girlfriend. Of course I said yes, he’s nothing like anyone I’ve ever known. Respectful, playful, honest, everything you could possibly ask for.. through the months we were dating there was no arguments, nothing, of course little things we got like upset about, but we easily talked about it and knew that it was nothing to break us, it was never serious with us to that extent ever. Now our priorities are more serious with life, we are both 20 and very Mature. Full time jobs but We both take care of the things we need to but we always made sure we made time for each other. we both don’t have social media nothing, which was why our relationship worked soooo great… His job is very busy and I randomly asked him(which I now regret) if being in a relationship was too much for him and he said sometimes yes, very randomly… and I’m still confused.. he said it’s not me, it’s him. That he needs to focus on himself and to take care of his family (he has no children) but of course his mother and sibling..and basically broke it off.. Its been a week…and I’m hurting “if we aren’t meant to be I’ll find my way back to you…” still can’t With that…
So we continue being sweet but we dont communicate all day. Usually in the morning only or at night but never missed to text me in more than half day. And then there was a time we stopped being sweet and he also stopped texting me and the next day he told me that he missed me and hes confused why bec. We havent met. And so we continue being sweet again. Slowly he texts me less and less. And then texts a lot again and less again.
Use social media to highlight the fun you’re having independently. Start to post pictures and status updates about how much fun you’re having doing things on your own. This works very well when trying to get an ex to miss you. Show how much you’re enjoying life on your own, and your guy will be begging to hang out with you because he misses you so much.
