Think about it: you became so used to having your partner around, especially if you lived together or just spent a lot of time together. Now that he’s gone, everything feels out of sync. You can’t sleep without him next to you. Your body temperature might even be going wonky. All of this is normal, but you need to really take care of your health right now.

I have broken up with my boyfriend since two months now,but then since he is not even texting or trying to approach. After we broke I remember after few days he called me up but I disconnected the call saying I don’t know whose speaking. Later this week mistakenly I made a call the next day he reverted me but then again I didnt answered him..what should I understand from this.i don’t know what he is upto…If he misses me? Or no
Promising to be practical rather than cheesy, this post looks at things you can do in your everyday lives to make your boyfriend want you more and more. Let's forget complicated relationship advice and reverse psychology tips that ask you to ignore him, here is a 21st century, no-nonsense and hard hitting list that is all about getting the job done – Getting his attention, making him want you and making him miss you ever step of the way.

I’m also in a relationship that i believe i committed myself too soon and i let him know of this. His response was that he wasn’t sure if he would even be available because his job might transfer him. I think he just used this reason as a way out. But, yet I’ve tried to put such boudary by letting him know that since we don’t want the same things we could just be friends. And although, I was hoping he wouldn’t take me up on it he did. So we stopped seeing eachother for a couple of weeks, but it’s been awful and I’m dying to see him again. So, when he playfully suggested to meet him again I totally went for it. But I’m afraid, this will put us right back to where we started. Do you think there is any way to put this relationship back in the right track? or there’s no way to save it now? I would appreciate any help you can give me.. Thanks

Keeping him guessing could be as simple as suggesting a new restaurant that the two of you have never tried, completely switching up your style by trying a new hairdo, wearing a sexy outfit to catch his attention, or just falling off the face of the Earth one day and never providing him with an explanation about your whereabouts. Sure, these tactics may seem a little bit rude, but you want the guy, right? So you have to keep him guessing!
If your man is acting distant and you want him to come back to you, chasing after him plain won’t work. The best thing to do is to give him the space he’s looking for so that he can solve whatever’s bothering him and get back to normal. If you chase him it only pushes him further away, instead give him the space he needs and he’ll feel your absence as soon as he solves his problem and will want to come running back to you.
I’m thinking of pulling away for that reason. The words of affirmation just aren’t there at all. And what’s more upsetting is he told me a story about how he expressed his feelings to his ex girlfriend almost instantly, really quickly into them meeting each other. They ended up breaking up because she was not as into him. So now I feel like I have to disappear just to see if he actually likes me.
I have this guy I’ve been dating off & on for the past 2years but we’ve been back seriously together for 8months now but suddenly few days back he just decide that he can’t go on with the relationship anymore that he feels the relationship lack trust meanwhile I’ve been 100% honest & loyal to him and he’s not get in touch with me since the which I did not aswell buh he watched my whatsapp status evrytime Wich I don’t do to his…..I’m really hurt please what should I do I need your advice??
So we have been together for two years and then my boyfriend left me and after some time he came back and he confessed he cheated on m when together and after leaving me at that time he was still with her. But then he begged for another chance so we started talking again and I was trying to make it work until I found out about something else he had done during that time. And all the anger and hurt came rushing back and I told him we were done. And he got really emotional and he told me not to leave him and that he will change and he begged me. But I still rejected him. And he hasn’t spoken to me since then but it’s only been a day. Either way I still do love him so I don’t know if I did the right thing by pushing him away when he begged so much. Will he ever come back now ? Would he stop trying to win me back? Have i lost him?

Then, switch things up by missing a phone call or two back-to-back. Your guy will be wondering where you are and what happened to your daily contact. He will start to realize that getting those daily text messages and phone calls are a part of his day that he doesn’t want to live without, and he’ll be dying to be in a committed relationship with you!

This also seems like a misplaced expectation of what love is and what relationships can do. A relationship will not solve all your problems, or make you whole, or give you ecstatic happiness at every turn. I’m not sure what “enough” for you looks like. It sounds like you need to mature in your understanding of love and adjust your expectations, rather than throw in the towel or play games with his heart. Have a conversation with him, but also do some introspection with yourself of where these ‘shoulds’ are coming from.

After 1.5 years of dating, my ex randomly broke it off by saying “he’s extremely stressed with life right now” and that he felt bad he couldn’t give me 100% right now. He felt as if he was putting me on the back burner, which I completely disagree with. It was the healthiest, most amazing and fun relationship anyone could be in. He didn’t want to ask me to wait for him because he didn’t think it was fair, and so he broke it off. I don’t know what to do. The last time we talked, about 2 weeks ago, he said he didn’t know if he wanted this break up. I’m so heart broken. I thought I was going to marry this guy, he’s amazing. What do I do now?

Guys like girls who have a focus – whether it is studies, sports, career or any other activity. Show him that you are a woman with dreams, passion and ambition. Be focused in your own life and vigorously pursue whatever you are doing at the moment. Men are naturally attracted to successful women and if you manage to become one, there is little more you will need to do to make him want you more and more.

Julie, i’m glad you responded to my comment. Thank you! i needed a perspective of a third person, which you did n i really appreciate it. What you said does make sense, we had indeed just met. i only wished i had stayed longer to get to know him better. but my family said they needed me and I moved without even thinking twice. Funny thing is, after i did move, my mom was like she felt sad for me that i moved quitting my job and all and that i should’ve stayed back if i wanted to. i was like in my mind, are you serious?! lol
But I guess I still like my ex, and I MISS him, while honestly I am more peaceful than when I WAS being with him, I do wanna be with him and marry him , he is a handsome, sweet, smart and successfully man. we already talked about marriage stuffs, we agreed we were both looking for life partner before we dated. And am also worried that he is actually annoyed by me saying breaking up so much and doesn’t wanna with him, and or he just wants the advantages of having a girlfriends, while we haven’t slept with each other…

Rather than work proactively, trying so hard to get the guy to like you, you ought to invest more time in simply having fun. Associating yourself with positive associations and building pleasant memories together is far more important than trying to convince him that you’re “something” or “somebody”. Be the type of woman that simply enjoys his company and wants to have together. You’re not trying to influence him or get something out of him.
Wallah awesome advices I’ve been with my guy more than a year now even f we r in different culture he always telling me it doesn’t matter and when I answered ur quizzes it just like a test paper also been told by my guy for me ur ryt it’s about inner self must know not just bcz d eyes want to see…and I’m satisfied and happy with my friends guy bcz he is God fearing and teach me lot more of faith values which really was a different from my culture..ALLAH bless U Eric may U continue help people who r in need of advices regarding love and the likes….
Very long story, but I could really use somebody’s advice. About a month ago, my 2 year relationship ended with the love of my life. I still can’t type that without crying. We were both madly in love with each other and very passionate, and the passion went both ways. I did a poor job of leaving no doubt for him to know how much I loved him, which lead to various problems. I never ever cheated on him or went behind his back, but there were stupid lies throughout that ultimately became too much for him to deal with. He lost trust in me the past 6 months, even though I knew that in those past months were whenever I was the most trusting. But I always understood why he couldn’t. Anyway, we fought all the time and our lives were miserable, still loving each other immensely. So he decided he needs to get his life back on track and he can’t do that being with me. I begged for a few days because I was so devastated, but I turned that around. Over the past couple of weeks, I have had to see him (the whole story is explained on another thread I posted, but long story short – he has two children who I watch once a week) so I’ve seen him several times. We’ve been intimate each time except this past week. We haven’t spoken much via text message, but he seems to want to know what I’ve been up to, but then he’ll go a while without texting me. This past weekend, I was at his son’s birthday party, and things seemed to be like they used to be (another tidbit of information – he is much older than me, and our relationship has been kept private from everybody except our closest friends) so everyone at the birthday party (his mother knows so everyone besides her) does not know about us. But he would joke with me, tease me, etc. like he used to, which is what lead to our closest friends finding out about us before we decided to tell them ourselves. However, I’ve become incredibly anxious and worried about what he’s been doing. His life before me consisted of having really good friends, women included but only as friends (and I never once doubted that), and he would typically hang out at bars every other weekend, but he totally stopped that after the first few months of us being together. But a week ago, he told me how his best friend (who knows about us) was inviting him to go to some cabin over the weekend which is just a big drinking fest, but it didn’t work out so it’s at his house instead. His best friend, by the way, has twin 1 1/2 year olds and a wife (who he isn’t completely faithful to). So I know that his wife was probably there which means that other women were not.
My boyfriend broke up with me a week ago. He’s 53 and divorced, I’m 57 and a widow. We were introduced by a mutual friend. On our first date the time just flew by, we got on so well. We were together for 3 months and had an amazing time together, great dates, went away for the weekend together. There were no arguments, we seemed to be a perfect match, liked doing the same things and happy together. He talked about the future, we were planning to book a holiday, he even talked about the possibility of moving in together in a couple of years. I met his children, parents, friends and he told me they thought I was a lovely. We spent a lot of time together, all weekend and 1 or 2 nights during the week and it was him doing the asking, I didn’t pressure him. I fell in love with him, he told me he loved me, I was his gorgeous girl, his soulmate, as near perfect as anyone could be. Then suddenly a week ago, he said he wanted to end it. I was completely shocked and stunned. When I asked him why he said it didn’t feel right, I was 99%, that I had brought calm and order to his life (previous girlfriend was, in his words, “a nightmare “) and he hoped he didn’t regret it. He said he’d be in touch to see how I was, that if I ever needed his help he’d be there for me. It’s only a week, he hasn’t been in touch yet. I honestly thought he was “the one” . Our mutual friend has seen him and said he was sad but not heartbroken and got no more out of him than I did. What went wrong, it seemed to be going so well? Do you think he’ll change his mind?
I have a question, more than a comment. I’ve been dating this guy off and on for 4yrs it’s been really hard for him to find a job. He had asked me for some money to fix his car. I asked him to give me the name of exact part that was needed he asked why. I responded and said so I can look for it on line. He said no. Next day I said well whats the game plan, when will you get your car fixed? I suggested I’ll pick you up you can stay at my house, drop me off at work and you can get the part you need. He said no. Finally the next day he said his grandma will let him borrow the money but she expected it back the next day. Well I had agreed to give him the money to pay back, but after thinking about it I decided not to go along with it. Before letting him know I wasn’t willing to give him the money I had asked will you be staying tonight when you come get the money? He said no, but I will this weekend. That’s what drew the line, and I told him he’s either lying or had something else going on that he didn’t want me to know. After all this I was the bad person and he called me every name in the book. I did apologize for what I had done but that he was being very wishy washy and I didn’t understand was he was up too. I did let him know our relationship was over and it was beyond repair. My question is, how do you see this, was I wrong? Was he just using me?

I know this is very difficult, but just continue what you are doing and do not initiate contact with him first. However, if it as already been eight weeks with him not nudging you, then he does not deserve you anyway. Or else give it a last shot and try contacting him now, and if you all get back together then switch your position. Act like you do not care how often you see him. Use reverse psychology on him.
Me and my girlfriend have been dating for quite a while now. We’re starting to get more distant by the day. Sometimes I feel like she’s mad at me but she’s the same as me; looks pissed but isn’t, I really love her but I feel like something is missing. What should I do? And I can’t really show much emotion since I’m still tramatized from my past self, I wasn’t allowed to show any emotions bc of my mom told me to. Its hard for me to express my feeling. Plz help.
Whether you’re in a new relationship or have been with your partner for a while, you must consider this key relationship advice for women if you want to succeed. Since relationships can be challenging and can have their fair share of ups and downs, being prepared for whatever a relationship can bring is imperative. For women especially, it’s important to take heed of these five essential pieces of advice in order to have the kind of long-lasting, happy, and healthy relationship that you so desire and deserve.
Instead of staying cooped up inside all day pining for your man, pick a spot that you want to travel to that is nearby. Getting lost in nature or in the sights and sounds of a big city is a great way to calm your mind and stop thinking about how much you miss your boyfriend. While going solo may seem frightening at first, it actually feels quite relaxing to be out by yourself exploring.
When your boyfriend misses you, it shows that he cares about you and is feeling disconnected from you physically and emotionally. If you are in a long distance relationship or if you are often away from your partner, it can be even harder to maintain a connection. There are several things that you can do to make sure your boyfriend misses you when you are apart, such as improving your communication, surprising him, and finding ways to increase his feelings of attraction for you.
Additional point is definitely if someone’s ready to spice up the sex life. This means that he can be sure that you will put some effort in keeping sex creative and fantastic. You should definitely expect this from him, but he needs to know that when the time comes to do something different, you will take initiative. You don’t need to go 50 Shades of Grey on him, but start by experimenting with moves you like and indulging your fantasies.
i have been dating this guy for almost six months now, we have not started having sex, because i told him i am not ready we have talked about it and he agreed. But of late i feel he is pulling away, sometimes he will not call or text me unless if i call him or text him first, he is always postponing our dates and its like he does not want to see me, when i ask him he says he is just busy with work or he could not call me because he had no credit in his phone, i don’t really know what to do? should i just leave him alone or i continue calling or texting him first all the time…, does it mean he has lost interest in me? please help ,
What I dislike about the article is that it really does not give any insight on how we can actually show the man that we were hurt and neglected. Would men like it if we had a come-and-go attitude? Is it too much to ask to think about the other person before disappearing? I don’t get it why we should be so bothered to not show our feelings, I doubt that a man would be more committed and less neglectful if after days he disappeared we would be like “oh I’m do glad I’m hearing back from you” as if everything is just fine. How convenient. It might give him the impression you had no problem with the whole thing while, while you did. Now let me ask you something personal since you are a dude, what about a man that does not text for 10 days while you had established daily or every two days fb messenger communication – while he gets online everyday and has liked another girl’s photo in the meantime. No, the girl was not a friend. I got really pissed off that he never talked to me for so long especially because of that and I told him. I disconnected and I do regret the whole situation. Just so you have the background, he was a guy I was seeing last year, we were together for about 3 months and when he sensed it was time to be official he just bailed out due to his personal problems-and indeed he was not at his best. He also quickly became distant and I blocked him with no explanation (I don’t take it that he would appear and disappear to taste) and then when I was calmer I unblocked him (did not reconnect though) and I explained myself. After another half year he texted me that he felt e distant too and reconnected with me and we had a daily communication pattern but we had not talked on where we stand which also bothered me.
Big mistake! How can he possibly miss you if you’re giving him the same amount of time you always give him? The “gift of missing you” means that you keep all communications BRIEF. You have obligations to hang out with your girlfriends, not divide your time between them and him. Frankly, it’s disrespectful to your friends…and all it really shows him is that you’re a pushover. Men take advantage of weak women.
Wow, I really liked some of your advice. I know most of that, but I really needed to hear it again. I'm not doing a great job at being unattached and being independent. lol. I put drinking glasses around the house over our bugs to let him kill them when he gets home. lol. I guess I should suck it up and pick them up and not be such a needy baby about that. Heck, I've done it before. Just not my favorite chore. Thanks for the encouragement!
Get a guy to commit by being loved by everyone around him. Get on the good side of his parents and friends. This will give him a well needed nudge to make him realize that you are a keeper. Moreover, if they like you, they’ll always be positive around you and spread that positivity onto him as well. They too will give him that nudge. He will love you even more if he sees that the people he loves, are impressed by you. This is one of the greatest goals you need to achieve if you are trying to get him to commit to a relationship. A relationship is only fair and successful if both of your lives are intertwined and fit in like each piece of the puzzle. That’s why you need to take some time to get to know his family and friends, as this will lead you to get to know more about him, and we all know how relatives and friends love to reveal little tid bits from his bachelor life. And we love to hear those, don’t we?
It's great to call your partner mushy and cute names but you could be risking falling in the trap of the comfort zone if you are overdoing it. No matter how sensitive your guy is, deep down inside he is still a guy and could possibly be turned off if you keep using cute names all the time. Think of how he would want to hear his name from a girl and say it out loud when you call him.
In some ways, mirroring includes – but is not restricted to – body language. If he places his elbows on the table to get closer to you, you can follow suit. Physically mimicking someone can increase your sexual tension as well as make you feel emotionally closer to the person. You could accidentally take this to an amusing level if you copy him too closely, so follow this advice with moderation.
Another important relationship tip for women is to show gratitude. In many relationships, certain tasks, chores, and other actions start to be taken for granted. For example, while your partner may have a routine of taking out the trash, putting gas in the car, or doing the laundry, saying "thank you" and showing your appreciation for your partner's actions are key components of a successful relationship. No matter how grand the gesture is that your partner makes, whether it's buying you flowers or flour, you shouldn't hesitate to show your appreciation.

Thanks for your comment. The only thing I would “call out” about this is when you say if they want you no matter the circumstances, you know it. The reason being is because he has proven it to you over time. He is not in a vulnerable state and also going through a lot. Typically a man under financial stress and job stress takes a significant toll on his ego and self-dignity. It’s a different stress. Losing someone you welcome support because he had no control over it. Now, the other stuff he possibly did and is having a significant amount of guilt. What I would suggest is that you step back a bit and let him reach out when he is ready. I do believe checking in with him from time to time is good and not let your ego get the best of you. Be positive in your time and conversations with him right now. Do not input any additional stress and let things progress naturally. Show him that you will support him even if that’s giving him some time to breathe. You will find out the answer. I would encourage you to also book a session with me here so I can give you exact tailored advice for your situation. https://www.apolloniaponti.com/private-coaching-2/

Being away from the love of your life is hard, for both of you. It may be that some days you miss him more than he misses you, this is only natural. The more we progress through life, we start to understand that sometimes the smallest things matter. Although he may not have said how much he misses you and wants to be with you, being in love and in a relationship is much more than simply speaking – it’s about we act too. Be brave and tell him how you feel, he probably feels the exact same way!
Hi I was engaged to my fiance for 11 years and things were going great until last July when he left me. In September I heard that he was seeing another woman that devastated me they split up in November, in December just before Xmas he contact me saying that he missed me and wanted to work things out, 2 weeks later he went cold on me yet again I was left heartbroken. Towards the end of January he turned up on my doorstep and asked if he could talk about getting back together; this time he took me out on dates and said that we would take things slowly I agreed. It is now the middle of February and he said to me that he needs space a week later I messaged him to see if he was ok and he did not reply back for hours saying that he ok. I am stuck in limbo as he has gone cold again I don’t know what to do anymore?
Thanks, and I am happy you enjoy the articles. It seems as though you gave him too much early on. I know right now it hurts but what I would suggest you do is focus on you and what makes you happy. Push away a little bit because he has to feel as though he is losing you too. Slow the pace of things when he reaches back out and don’t come off too eager for a relationship. The one thing I have to mention here is if he is not ready for a relationship with you then you cannot force this. The best thing you can do is take a step back and let him pursue you.
On the other hand, you’re wild and out of control in areas where it counts: like sex! A man wants to feel like he’s losing control sexually, like you’re even more insatiable than he is. You want sex more than he does, if that’s even possible, and there are no taboos you’re unwilling to discuss. You’re not a prude. You just haven’t decided yet, whether he’s worthy of you and knowing your fantasies.

And that’s it. You don’t ask him for anything. You also continue dating other men until you have the commitment that makes you happy. I know this is hard, but trust me when I say you are doing the best thing you possibly can to ensure your happiness. No man should ever feel like he’s your man of choice, he’s your “One,” or that you’re only seeing him. Not until he’s committed.
Im in the current situation right now… He wants space for me being paranoid for past few weeks.. I really dont know wat to do, he is so busy and stressed from work.. He asked for space, i ask him if he is breaking up with me he said no he just need time and space for the meantime… Need your advice please… I dont want us to be apart i really love him..
He may be interested in developing a relationship with you. He may also realize that he is not ready to enter into a committed relationship with someone that he cares for. Continue to remain his friend, but realize that he may be at a different point in his life that you are. When people are drunk, they are much more likely to act in a flirtatious or intimate manner. Speak directly and honestly with him about your thoughts and feelings. Best of luck, Vicki!
Ok so my relationship with my ex was amazing! eveverything was good! I’m 28 and he’s 41! we met at work and we just connected immediately! my mom died 8 months ago and ever since then we have had a strain and it’s been a little hard but he knows what I’m going through because his mom also passed 10 years ago! my ex has never been the commitment type but he was with me for 3 years! even he said I am the only girl he’s ever loved and actually cared about! But then he wanted this break with me but was still contacting me and seeing me 3 times a week atleast! But then he cheated! he strayed and he always said he would! but it was just out of no where! he still says he loves me and maybe one day we can be together but we just need space! but I don’t get it cuz he still wants to talk to me and make sure I’m doing good! this break up had been really hard on me especially since my mom just died and he was the only one there for me! please help me I don’t know how to take control of this break up! He’s holding all the cards right now and I hate it!
This is stupid. Just because you miss her/him, means she/he is going to miss you back? Um, hello? Reality check! If she/he dumped you, they are relieved! They dumped you for a reason and most of the time it’s because of what you believe in or something not right about your personality. And if you’re obsessively stalking them on FacePace or whatever, they have GOOD reason to keep you out of their lives! Please STOP trying to encourage otherwise good people into stalking their ex! It’s really really creepy!
In june( we had been in touch since March) I went to visit him, he had told me he doesn’t want a relationship, the feeling of being emotionally available on that level wasn’t a good feeling, which I understood. So I went to visit, and we hit it off, to me it was right back to where it was when we first started seeing each other. I have gone to see him every month since June, he told me he didn’t want a relationship, as we continued to see each other things seemed to change, he was getting close, I asked him ” but you don’t want a relationship” his answer seemed to change, he was affectionate, I met his daughter, I met his daughters mom, he introduced me to his co workers, his friends and included me in his life.
Schedule a girls night out with your friends. Leave your man home by himself. Give him a hug and kiss, and then say “see you later.” Make him miss you — and show him that you’re not in a codependent relationship with him — that you have a social life, too. If he wants space, then give him space, while have a fun time with your friends outside of your relationship. When a man pulls away after being in a LTR for a while, sometimes it means he feels trapped or suffocated or obligated to you, or that he’s losing his freedom or sense of self because you’re now “all coupling all the time.” Immersing himself in work is a way for him to pull away from this codependence and gain a sense of self and independence. If you’re really worried, do an evaluation of your relationship — are you getting too clingy, needy, or do you want to do things with him 24/7 … are you having a codependent relationship? Is that the reason why your guy is pulling away? Sometimes, the issue may not just be his, but also yours.
Thank you, Ray. I needed a male’s perspective, I’m hurt & all my girl friends are angry, so I can relate to almost all of these posts. I have been with a man that “needs his space” & needs a woman to be understanding about it. It’s hard for me because although we have been in a relationship for just a week over a year, I’ve been in love with him for 20. We had a 2 year off & on thing back then & I was very young & I did not understand him back then. Although I understand him now, it still hurts, & the fear is always there, nagging at me, bringing up thoughts like, is he wanting to see someone else? Am I the one pushing him away with my feelings? Why does he not love me the way I love him? Always wondering if there is someone else, but never really believing it. He told me from day one (a year ago) how he was, & I guess I decided back then I loved him enough I could handle his occasional distance & that I had enough love to push through it.

Hi Adam. I’ve been talking to a man I met on pof for 6 weeks. We get along incredibly well, have very long phone conversations laugh a lot. He pursued me hardcore until I gave in to a date. Went out twice got along great. He always begged me to come over to snuggle at night. So one night I finally get up the nerve to go over but no official invite that particular night, thought it would be a cute surprise. He was drinking with friends that night (he went out and I had a previous engagement as well) but let me in and was surprised to see me. We fool around a little bit and he let’s me know that he isn’t able to have sex due to too much drinking that evening. We snuggle for an hour then I leave. He’s been a little distant for a week now. He still calls every day but never flirty texts anymore, not hardcore pursuing anymore and hasn’t made any plans to see me although we could have seen each other since then. He seemed to like me so much before, what did I do wrong? Should I still continue to talk to him on the phone or just hang it up?

Have you ever caught a whiff of something and a person or place came to mind? It can be the lightest smell that brings you back to a certain time in your life. That is because our sense of smell is attached to our memory. Certain smells will always be associated to different memories in our brain. If you want a man to miss you, bringing up those happy memories of your past will do just that. Be sure that you wear your personal scent every time you see him. Each time the smell hits his nose, you will come to mind. It might also be a good idea to spritz a little bit of that scent around his house but be discrete. He shouldn’t see you doing this for obvious reasons. If you leave your scent around his house he’s going to have a hard time getting you off his mind and not missing you.
If you find that you never ever want space from him, it’s time for you to start finding your own space anyway. It’s not healthy for couples to spend all their time together. It can cause you to neglect your friends, family, and self. You can start to rely too much on this man (and, in my mind, you always need just a dose of independence for yourself) and lose your identity.

Im dating a man who is being very consistent with his communication and we see each other every weekend. He is always making plans with me and he reaches out to me all the time. The only issue is that I’m having a hard time feeling like he desires me the way a man should desire a woman. We hang out, we talk, we have so much fun together, we have sex but it feels more like a friend I’m having sex with than a romantic partner. Im physically and romantically attracted to him but I can’t help but wonder if there is a physical attraction issue on his part. He doesn’t seem “into” me like I’m used to. I’m a pretty woman but I know I don’t have those super pretty girl looks so I don’t know. Nonetheless, he isn’t pulling away per se, he just isn’t romantically present. I don’t hear anything sweet or flirty or sexy from him. When I do it to him, he just says thank you and tells me how much he enjoys hearing me say stuff like that. We have a lot in common and we have a great intellectual connection. He’s told his mom, dad and friends about me. But I’m worried because I feel like he doesn’t feel strongly about me in romantic way, even though he spends time with me, talks to me all the time, and admits that he has the most fun with me. It makes me sad because we both talk about how we are happy to have met someone like each other but I can’t help but wonder if having all these things in common and both of us being capable of loving each other the way we always wished someone would is somehow STILL not enough. It makes me very sad.

Men want no manipulation of any kind. They do not want to have to read their partner’s mind or try to interpret signals. They do not want to be forced to move faster in a relationship than they are ready. They do not want to be manipulated into taking all the blame for things gone wrong. They do not want to be on the receiving end of game playing. Women think men want little or no communication, and the only way to get needs met is through manipulation. Women think men either need or want to be reminded that the relationship needs to move forward. Women think men don’t want or value praise and acknowledgment, and so tend to only verbalize criticism.
